Met Éireann has issued an orange thunderstorm warning for this afternoon.
The warning for Cork, Kerry and Waterford comes into effect today, Thursday June 25th at 4pm and it will last until 7pm.
The national forecaster has said that possible impacts include heavy downpours leading to flooding in places, lightning damage, hail, hazardous driving conditions and very gusty winds.
