This weekend's events include a women's health information evening, a string quartet performance, an Imbolc celebration, morning meditation with horses and a series of maritime talks.

Hormones to High Heels - Friday 20th February

This information evening with cocktails and canapes takes place in the Westlodge Hotel Bantry this Friday at 8pm. It features a talk with women's health expert Dr. Fiona Barry, a live botox demonstration, and includes entrance to an 80s and 90s music night after the event. Olympia Quarter Performance - Saturday 21st February

The Olympia String Quartet, which consists of violinists Yevlaliia Yershova and Ellen Crowley, violist Charlie Duff, and cellist Adam Joyce, perform a fantastic programme of works by Debussy, Mendelssohn and Florence Price in Marino Church, Bantry on Saturday 21 February at 3pm. An Afternoon for Imbolc - Saturday 21st February

This event is an Imbolc and St. Bríd celebration focuses on honouring Irish traditions and the arrival of spring, featuring live harp music, journaling, a self-guided facial massage with natural oils, and meridian tapping. It takes place at the Dunmanway Family Resource centre on Saturday from 4pm until 6.30pm, and concludes with lemon polenta cake. Morning Meditation with Horses for Women - Sunday 22nd February

Step into a calm, restorative morning with horses in a peaceful, natural landscape in West Cork. The Hollies Horse Sense are offering this small group meditation on Sunday from 10am-12.30pm at their premises in Enniskeane. For €35, tea, coffee and snacks are included. Shipwrecks and Maritime History off the Seven Heads, Sunday 22nd February.

Butlerstown Community Centre presents  an afternoon of maritime culture, heritage and history. This Sunday at 2pm, a fantastic line up of local guest speakers will provide a very informative maritime afternoon. Admission is €15.
