A MAN charged with the possession of drugs over the value of €13,000 has been sent forward for sentencing to Cork Circuit Criminal Court.
Darren Power with an address at Rosscarbery Arms, Rosscarbery appeared before Judge Joanne Carroll at Bandon District Court.
He faces three charges including the alleged possession of cannabis, the possession of cannabis for the purpose of sale or supply and the possession of drugs for sale or supply over the value of €13,000 at Gortnaclohy, Skibbereen on May 2nd 2024.

Sgt Eimear O’Connell said the Director of Public Prosecutions has consented to prosecution in the circuit court.
Defence solicitor Diarmuid O’Shea indicated that his client was going forward on three signed pleas of guilty.
Judge Carroll issued an alibi warning and sent him forward to appear at the next sitting of Cork Circuit Criminal Court commencing on April 28th next.
Judge Carroll extended free legal aid to include one junior counsel and told Mr O’Shea that any application for a senior counsel can be dealt with at the circuit court.
The judge said the same bail conditions were to be applied.
These include that he reside at the same address and that any change to his address would have to be agreed with a sergeant in charge 48 hours in advance.
He is also to have his mobile phone on and charged at all times.
The court heard that another charge for the possession of cannabis valued at €150 would be heard in the district court on March 23rd.
