The Friends of Dunmanway Hospital are delighted to announce that the very successful Victorian Concert held last December is back – on DVD.

THE Friends of Dunmanway Hospital are delighted to announce that the very successful Victorian Concert held last December is back – on DVD.

This year’s fundraising effort takes the form a double DVD (over two and a half hours’ running time, divided into Parts 1 and 2) of the Christmas concert from St Patrick’s Church, December 2016. Among the artistes featured are soloists, musicians, choirs and children from Ultraflex Dance Group.

It could make a wonderful Christmas present for anyone at home or away, a truly memorable record of an event that got people in Dunmanway excited about Christmas last year.

The DVD will be launched at Healy’s SuperValu, Dunmanway, on Friday next December 1st, at 11am by a local personality. Festive nibbles and a great atmosphere are promised.

This DVD would make a timeless present for anyone who loves Christmas and, with all the locals participating, it will become a Christmas classic in its own right, a DVD which will be watched at home or abroad for years to come with family and friends.

Friends of Dunmanway Hospital invite all to come and participate in the festive cheer at the DVD launch. The DVD is priced at €15; for those who wish to send the DVD to friends and relatives in the USA, ensure that you purchase the DVD in special US format.  Last year’s concert followed upon the CD ‘Christmas in Dunmanway,’ which was launched last year and, for those who didn’t get a copy, there are a few still available locally. All proceeds of the sale of the DVD will go back into helping the local Community Hospital provide home-from-home care for its residents.

The Friends of Dunmanway Hospital again thanked again all who participated, helped, assisted and sponsored the concert and CD last year without whose help this DVD would not have been possible and a special thank you went to Pitchside Media who recorded the event.
