IF you fancy a career in hospitality but don’t know quite how to get started, then a careers showcase in a well-known West Cork hotel might tempt you. 

‘The Hospitality and Tourism industry has been massively important to Ireland over these past few years and, with the promotion of the Wild Atlantic Way, it is only going to become more dynamic in West Cork,’ says Neil Grant, manager of the Celtic Ross Hotel in Rosscarbery.

‘We are looking for dynamic individuals who love working with people of all ages and want to create the best of Irish welcomes to guests in West Cork,’ he adds.  ‘If you are passionate about creating lasting memories for every person you meet and want to share with everyone why you love West Cork, so that they can feel the same way, then this Saturday if for you.’ 

The Celtic Ross Hotel’s Careers Showcase is on this Saturday (April 2nd, 2pm-4pm). Each department, including bar & restaurant, kitchen, leisure centre, serenity rooms, reservations, weddings & events, will be represented at the showcase, with staff available to talk about their roles and the way they help create a fantastic guest experience.  

‘At the Celtic Ross we encourage creativity and potential, and encourage staff to exceed expectations by nurturing a team ethic to achieve more,’ explains Neil. 

‘The hospitality world is vibrant, lively and always interesting. If you’re not already working in the industry, then you should come along and see why you should be.
