TripAdvisor and Rally awards for Clonakilty's Quality Hotel

THERE were plenty of celebrations all round at The Quality Hotel in Clonakilty recently when the hotel picked up a prestigious TripAdvisor Award. The hotel was a winner in the ‘Top 10 Hotels for Families in Ireland’ category of the 2016 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards.

For the 14^th year, TripAdvisor has highlighted the world’s top properties based on the million of reviews and opinions collected in a single year from travellers around the globe and in a category with growing and stiff competition, the Quality Hotel ranked fifth out of the Top 10 winners.

‘We continually strive to improve the facilities that we offer to families and this year is particularly exciting for us as it will see the completion of a new High Rope Trekking Course and a Laser Tag Adventure Centre,’ said David Henry, General Manager of the Quality Hotel.

The bumper start to the year continued for the hotel when, following its 16^th year as headquarters to the West Cork Rally, it received the ‘Spirit of the Rally Award’ to mark its outstanding contribution over the past 14 years as a main sponsor.

‘The rally is a vital part of Clonakilty tourism, bringing much business to the hotels, shops, restaurants and pubs and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved and its spectators.
