A TOTAL of 50 ESB customers near Ballyvourney have been left without power today after last night’s high winds.
While most of Cork escaped last night’s storm, which battered the north-west of the country, a cluster of homes on the Lee Bridge line near Carriganna lost power at about 6.30am this morning.
It is hoped that ESB crews will be able to restore power to the 50 homes by 10.30am today.
