Met Éireann has issued a status yellow rain warning for Cork from this evening until midnight.
A spokesperson said that blustery spells of heavy rain are forecasting from 6pm this evening until midnight tonight.
Parts of Cork could be subject to spot flooding while motorists are being warned of difficult travel conditions and impaired visibility.

The warning comes as the Irish women's football team take on the Netherlands in Páirc Uí Chaoimh this evening.
