THE main Baltimore to Skibbereen road has been closed this morning following a crash near the junction of the Baltimore Road and the Lough Hyne road.
THE main Baltimore to Skibbereen road has been closed this morning following a crash near the junction of the Baltimore Road and the Lough Hyne road.
There are reports that a woman has been injured after the single vehicle incident just beyond the junction, on the Baltimore side.
A diversion is in place from Skibbereen via the Lough Hyne Road and an ambulance, assisted by the Skibbereen and Schull fire services, is in attendance.
Gardai are also in attendance.
Traffic coming from Baltimore has been directed to turn at Old Court, and travel via the rowing club into Skibbereen.
