Revenue seizes herbal cannabis worth €44k destined for West Cork

REVENUE officers in Cork seized 2.2kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €44,000, during routine operations on Wednesday.

The illegal drugs were found in a package which had arrived from Italy and gardaí have now revealed that the drugs were destined for an address in West Cork.

Investigations are ongoing.

These seizures are part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting drug importations.
