The road will be closed to facilitate a motorcycle drag race.
CORK County Council has advised that part of the N71 by Ballinhassig will be closed on Sunday April 14th from 8am until 6.30pm to facilitate a motorcycle drag race.
The road subject to closure is the N71-1110 (Part) from the Halfway roundabout to its junction with the L-2264 slip road from Ballinhassig.
Diversion signs will be in place to direct motorists travelling from both Bandon direction and Bishopstown direction to take alternative routes which will lead them to rejoin the N71.
