Speaking at a well supportd launch last week, John O’Driscoll, managing director of Blueprint Financial Planning said: ‘We design bespoke financial plans for our clients, to help organise and prioritise their future personal and business needs and improve their financial fitness, in accordance with their desired lifestyles. We offer expertise in areas such as pensions, illness protection, wealth management, financial planning and protection analysis, getting to the heart of planning and thinking for the future where our clients can comfortably deal with life’s inevitable “rainy days”. Equally so, a future that allows them to spend money on their pastimes and hobbies.’
John said that being a native of Skibbereen and seeing his parents run a successful business here since 1985, he ‘always wanted to follow in their footsteps.’
‘I decided to base my new business in the Ludgate Hub in the town centre to work in a modern, state of the art, vibrant and motivational environment with other entrepreneurs and start-ups.’
Pat Divilly, one of Ireland’s best-known performance coaches and wellness experts ,was the keynote speaker at the launch event at the West Cork Hotel. MC on the evening was broadcaster Jonathan Healy.
A group of Cork-based entrepreneurs took part in a roundtable discussion on opportunities and challenges for their businesses. They included John Field of Field’s SuperValu; Ernest Cantillon, owner Sober Lane and Electric bars in Cork city; Karen O’Reilly, founder, Employmum; Jim Kennedy of Atlantic Sea Kayaking and Monica Buckley, owner of the Fresh Fish Deli.
