Gardaí, ambulance personnel and the fire brigade crews attended two road traffic incidents in the Baltimore area this evening.
Motorists are being advised to take care on the Baltimore Road, near Creagh, where ambulance crew were attending to a motorcyclist, who sustained an injury shortly after 5.3opm and was taken to Cork University Hospital.
While still on scene, more emergency response vehicles were dispatched to deal with a collision, believed to have involved two vans, in the vicinity of Lough Hyne, near Baltimore.

Given the narrow roads and the fact that the emergency crews are still on the scene, motorist are advised to approach with caution.
