In evidence at Skibbereen District Court last week, Sgt Paul Kelly said Gda Joseph Lee had served the book of evidence in the case of the defendant, Paul Schilling, with an address at The Hill, Baltimore, who was charged with being in possession of the images at his home on March 17th 2015.

Sgt Kelly said the DPP had directed prosecution on indictment and Judge James McNulty made an order sending the accused forward to the next sitting of the Circuit Criminal Court on May 8th next.

The court was told that there was no objection to the accused being remanded on bail and Paul Schilling was released on his own bond of €5,000, of which no cash was required.

Solicitor Colette McCarthy was granted free legal aid for her client, including legal aid for a junior barrister appearing in the circuit court.
