A MAN in his 20s arrested by gardai investigating the theft of cattle, burglaries and criminal damage of farm equipment in West Cork is due in court today.

The man, aged in his late 20s, was arrested on Wednesday March 18th in relation to the criminal damage of agricultural equipment that occurred in Drimoleague in July 2025.

He was later released pending a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

The man has since been re-arrested and charged in relation to investigations into a burglary at Skibbereen in October 2023.

He is expected to appear before Bandon District Court this morning, Friday March 20th at approximately 10.30am

Investigations are ongoing.
