It has been a great few weeks for our clubs, with plenty of reasons to celebrate while looking forward to the busy weeks ahead.

Members across the region have been busy, and their efforts are continuing to shine at both a local and national level.

Congratulations first must go to Kilmeen and Bantry Macra for their excellent performances at Capers.

It was a brilliant night of entertainment, enjoyed by all who attended, and a real showcase of the talent within our clubs. 

A special well done goes to Kilmeen Macra, who were nominated for Best Scene for their impressive and creative lights show.

A huge achievement and something to be very proud of.

We also extend our congratulations to Jack Murphy of Bantry Macra, who is also a member of UCC Macra, following his success at the UCC Titles Night.

We wish him the very best as he goes on to represent UCC at Mr Personality in April. We’ll be cheering him on every step of
the way.

February is shaping up to be a quieter month, but there are still important dates for the diary.

The Carbery round of Impromptu Debating will take place on Sunday February 15th, with the venue to be confirmed shortly. This promises to be a great opportunity for members to get involved and show their skills.

Our next regional meeting will take place on Pancake Tuesday, February 17th, at 8:30pm in The Travellers Rest, Caheragh.

All are very welcome to attend, and there may even be a surprise in store to help us celebrate the occasion.

We hope to see many of you there as we continue another great year together.
