CLOSE out the month of February by getting out and about this weekend in West Cork.

We have compiled a list of not five, but SIX events taking place over the next few days, so you will be spoiled for choice for things to do.

This weekend's events include a night of dancing, a double headliner show at Bandon Folk Club, CLADA at DeBarras, a social run club and a family quiz night.

Chrissie & Mike's Christmas Lights Presentation Dance - Friday February 27th

Join The Finbar Dennehy Band, Patrick Triggs & Niamh Downey and Jake Coffey for a fantastic night of music, dancing, and celebration at The Parkway Hotel on Friday, February 27th at 8.30pm.
Organised by Dunmanway Agricultural Show, there will be special presentations to Breakthrough Cancer Research, West Cork Palliative Care, and CoAction Dunmanway. There will also be a monster raffle and dancing from 9pm — a great night guaranteed. Admission at the door is €10.

Double Headliner Show at Bandon Folk Club - Friday 27th February

This double-headliner show brings together the atmospheric indie-folk of LOWMountain and the powerful, truth-seeking artistry of Victoria Keating and Martin Leahy. The show starts in Bandon Town Hall at 8:30pm. Tickets are available at The Perfect Cup in Bandon and online here.

CLADA at DeBarra's - Saturday February 28th

Trad-rock sensation CLADA will turn up the energy in De Barra’s, Clonakilty this Saturday February 28th at 8.30pm.

The five-piece band have become a viral sensation on social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.

Combining Irish Traditional sound with musical styles such as pop, funk and dance music, the group give a fresh spin on traditional music to keep it on par with today’s modern mainstream genre.

Coffee, Cake and 5k - Sunday March 1st

Looking to get your steps in this weekend? Rosscarbery Steam Runners AC social run club returns on Sunday March First at 10am.

Meeting at Serpentine Road, the runners will go to the pier and back before finishing in Drip Coffee for refreshments.

Its totally free and everyone is welcome.

Family Quiz Night - Sunday 1st March

Kinsale & District Lions Club are hosting a quiz night in support of Kinsale Your Support Services this Sunday.

The proceeds will help KYSS continue providing essential mental health support in the community.

The quiz starts at 6pm sharp in Actons Hotel, Kinsale.

Entry for a table of 4 is €50 on the night, or €40 if you book online here.
