A Cork lotto player has scooped up €365,515 in Friday's EuroMillions draw.
The winning ticket was bought online last Wednesday (June 3rd) and the National Lottery has confirmed a notificaion has been sent to the winner.
A player in Wicklow is also certain to be celebrating today after matching five numbers to win €21,357. The winning Quick Pick ticket was bought on Thursday JUne 4th) at Tesco, Wexford Road, Arklow, Co. Wicklow.
The winning numbers in the Friday 5th June draw were: 05, 06, 16, 17, 49 and Lucky Stars 02, 12.
National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr had the following advice for players: 'While over 69,000 players in Ireland won prizes across the EuroMillions and Plus games on Friday night, it was an online player in Cork and a Wicklow player who won the biggest prizes of the night.
'Both winners who have tickets worth €365,515 and €21,357 are advised to contact the Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222.'
She added arrangements would be made for both winners to visit the Winners Room in Lottery Headquarters to collect their prizes
And since there was no winner of the staggering €160,606,603 on offer, Tuesday’s jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €175 million.
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total, €7 billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 39 years ago.
