Clonakilty is mourning the death of one of its stalwarts after Tommy O'Donovan of O'Donovan's Hotel passed away suddenly yesterday.
His passing was made all the more poignant as he along with his two sisters, Dena and Therese had been grand marshals at the town's St Patrick's parade on Tuesday on what was a celebratory day for the siblings.
Tommy is survived by his wife Gobnait, his children Edel, Tom, Dan and Sarah and his sisters Dena, Therese, Val, Angela and Carol.
