AVA Barry, the young girl from Aghabullogue with a rare form of epilepsy, has died.
Her mother, Vera Twomey, had campaigned relentlessly on her behalf for a medicinal cannabis licence to be granted, a campaign which was eventually successful in 2017 after two and a half years.
Ava died peacefully last night, surrounded by family at Cork University Hospital.
