A 31-YEAR-old man from Ballydehob charged with the theft of 42 cattle worth €53,000 over an eight-year period in West Cork has been further remanded in custody.
Colm Dineen, of Cappaghmore, Ballydehob, appeared at Clonakilty District Court on Tuesday, on five charges including burglary and theft of cattle dating back to 2017.
Defence solicitor Flor Murphy made no application for bail on behalf of his client.

‘We have to sort a few things before making any bail application,’ said Mr Murphy.
When addressed by Judge Joanne Carroll, Mr Dineen spoke only to confirm that he understood the proceedings for his next court appearance.
Mr Dineen was remanded in custody to appear at Bandon District Court on December 22nd.
