A well-known Irish actress was spotted in West Cork last week.

Pauline McLynn, most famous for playing Mrs Doyle in 'Father Ted' and currently starring in 'Coronation Street' ,took a ride aboard Cape Clear Ferries on Thursday, May 21st.

In a post on social media, the ferry crew couldn’t resist the opportunity for a bit of nostalgia, sharing a photo of the star on social media with a caption 'Ah go on, go on, go on. Take a trip with Cape Clear Ferries.'

McLynn was visiting West Cork as part of the Fastnet Film Festival.
