A driver was fined €300 for careless driving after crashing into two cars in Rosscarberry, causing almost €25,000 worth of damage.
Clonakilty District Court heard that on December 22nd 2024 at 12:42am, Sean O’Sullivan, of Burgatia North, Rosscarbery, was driving along Chapel Street in Rosscarbery when he lost control of his Ford Mondeo and smashed into two parked vehicles.
He caused €18,200 worth of damage to a Volkswagen Golf, which was a write off, and €6,102 worth of damage to a Toyota.

Solicitor Plunkett Taaffe said his client, who works in scaffolding, had been traveling home from a social event when ‘his dashboard lit up and he got distracted by the lights’.
Judge Joanne Carroll fined him €300.
