INCHYDONEY Island Lodge & Spa was named Ireland’s leading Hotel 2025 at the Word Travel Awards (Europe) which took place at a glittering gala event in Sardinia recently.

The award, which is voted on by members of the travel trade industry and by consumers, is a fantastic achievement for this family business.

A firm supporter of all things Irish, and those from West Cork in particular, Inchydoney makes the most of its location on the doorstep of many of the finest food producers and suppliers in the country.

Nestled between Inchydoney’s two Blue Flag beaches, just outside the colourful heritage town of Clonakilty, the resort has been a favourite spot for Irish and International holiday makers for over 25 years.

Local food provenance has always been part of the hotel’s DNA and features throughout its award winning restaurant menus. Beautiful Irish craftsmanship is on display throughout the hotel, from art to furniture.
