A NEW Cork-based food start-up is bringing safe, allergy-friendly treats to the shelves of SuperValu Clonakilty this Friday, 3rd October.

The company is launching its first three flavours of fresh cookies – S’mores, Chocolate Chip, and Biscoff – all made in a dedicated nut-free, milk-free, and egg-free facility.

Founder Sharon created the brand with one mission: to make sure nobody has to miss out on enjoying fresh baked cookies because of food allergies.

'It’s almost impossible to find safe, fresh treats when you’re out and about. We want to change that,' she explained.

As a mom to children with multpile life threatening allergies I want to make sure other families life mine get to enjoy safe treats.

To celebrate the launch, Safe Bite will be in-store at SuperValu Clonakilty on Saturday, 4th October, from 11am to 3pm offering free tastings and chatting with customers about the story behind the brand.

'We’re passionate about inclusivity and making sure everyone can enjoy simple pleasures like a cookie,' said Sharon.

'This launch is just the beginning – our goal is to make allergy-friendly treats easily available in as many places as possible.'
