The 50 Plus Show, Ireland’s lifestyle event for people 50 and over, is returning to the Radisson Blu Hotel, Cork on September 26th and 27th.

Organisers have promised a mixture of displays, presentations and workshops designed to inform and inspire people in their retirement.

Over 70 exhibits, demonstrations and workshops covering, health, hobbies and pastimes, rights and entitlements, volunteering, recruitment, personal finance, internet tuition, food, fashion, coin and stamp collecting and home and abroad holidays will be taking part.

Popular features include cooking demonstrations with Kate Wright and Jacques Brennan plus a series of arts & crafts workshop where participants can create and take home their work – all for free.

The Irish Heart Foundation and the Mater Private will be conducting free health checks and Sinead Ryan from Newstalk (pictured) will be speaking on wills, inheritance and the fair deal scheme and available to answer your queries afterwards.

Coin, stamp and collectable expert Mike Kelly will also be on hand to value your items as well as bridge workshops with Michael O’Loughlin.

Hi Digital is a step-by-step course designed for anyone who needs a bit of help developing their digital skills, particularly those who have rarely or never been online.

Age Friendly AI will be hosting AI Literacy workshops as part of their Share Your Thoughts Campaign at the event.
