THERE were celebrations once again for the family-owned and run Dunmore House in Clonakilty as it was announced this year’s Best Customer Service of the Year at the Food & Wine awards 2025.

The awards were held in The Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin and celebrated the best of Irish food and drink in a sold-out event hosted by Food & Wine editor Gillian Nelis.

The Food & Wine awards are one of the largest hospitality awards on the island and a highlight in the culinary calendar honouring the industry’s best-in-class across restaurants, wine experiences, cafes, cocktail experiences and more.

The competition was tough with other restaurants and properties in the category including Variety Jones in Dublin and The Station House in Meath to name just a few.
