A WEST Cork chicken firm is alleged to have employed people without work permits.
Shannonvale Foods Ltd, of Gallanes, Clonakilty, is charged with breaching Section 7 (3) of the Employment Permits Act 2024. The case involves six people alleged to have no valid work permits, Clonakilty District Court heard. The case has been adjourned until November 3 at Clonakilty District Court for a plea or to fix a date.
