Manchester United, Celtic and Ireland legends to take part in match in honour of the late Liam Miller

TICKETS for the Liam Miller Benefit Match will go on sale via Ticketmaster this Friday, July 20th at 10am.

Tickets are €50 each and, due to the anticipated level of demand, a limit of four tickets per person will apply.

The match in aid of the late Liam Miller will take place at 3pm on Tuesday, September 25th at Turner’s Cross, and will be followed by a black-tie gala dinner in City Hall at 7.15pm.

Former team-mates of Liam Miller’s from his time with Manchester United, Glasgow Celtic and the Republic of Ireland will line out for what promises to be a very special tribute occasion.

The match was launched on Wednesday morning at City Hall by the Lord Mayor of Cork, Councillor Mick Finn. A number of people who knew and worked with Liam are behind the idea of this tribute match – including Sir Alex Ferguson, Roy Keane, and Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward, as well as family neighbour and friend, Michael O’Flynn.

A black-tie gala dinner will take place at Cork’s City Hall on the evening of September 25th 7.15pm, following the game in Turners Cross.

Tables for the gala dinner are now almost sold out.
