NIALL Hurley is the new Dohenys senior football manager.

Hurley, who won a Carbery junior B football title with Dohenys this season, takes over from Declan O’Dwyer who sat in the hot-seat since 2021.

The new Dohenys boss was part of O’Dwyer’s senior A management team in 2023 and 2024. His backroom team includes Donal O’Sullivan and Darragh Farr as selectors, David O’Donovan as coach with Eddie O’Sullivan looking after S&C.

In the 2026 Cork SAFC, Dohenys have been drawn in Group 1 alongside Béal Átha'n Ghaorthaidh, Kanturk, and, Aghabullogue. 

There will also be a new football manager in O’Donovan Rossa, as Liam Hurley takes over from Gene Hourihane. The Skibbereen team has been drawn with Cill na Marta, Carbery Rangers, and Newmarket in Group 2 of the 2026 Senior A.
