JOHN Cleary's Cork footballers will open their 2026 National Football League Division 2 campaign at home to Cavan on Sunday, January 25th in Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

Promotion will be the aim once again this year, the Rebels haven't appeared in Division 1 since 2016.

Their second game will see them face old nemesis and Leinster champions Louth on Sunday, February 1st in Ardee. Cork have been up to the regional venue twice since 2023 but have lost on both occasions.

Another away game against a Leinster side follows as Cork travel to O'Connor Park, Tullamore to face newly promoted Offaly on Sunday, February 15th.

The Lee-siders are back at home on Sunday, February 22nd against Meath, provisionally down for Pairc Ui Rinn.

Their final three games are tough encounters, starting with an away trip to Derry in Celtic Park on Sunday, March 1st.

Kildare at home is the penultimate game for Cleary's troops on Saturday, March 14th before a final day trip to Tyrone on Sunday, March 22nd concludes the league phase.
