CARBERY RANGERS: The U18s recorded a 1-16 to 2-12 win over Ahan Gaels. Team: Ciaran Campbell, Jack Herlihy, Cormac O Donnabháin, Rory Hayes, Dylan Buchanan, Iarla Crowley, Michael McCarthy, Gavin Anderson (0-1), Fionn Coppinger (0-3, 1 2pt), Sean McMahon; Luke O Neill (1-5, 1 2pt), Ivan Eady, Luke Crowley, Eric Hicks (0-6, 2f), Killian Fitzpatrick (0-1), Charlie Harte. The U14s were defeated by Ilen Rovers, 3-15 to 4-4. They face Ahan Gaels on Monday in Ardagh (7pm). The U13s lost to Ibane Gaels, 3-13 to 5-5. The U12s beat Argideen Rangers 4-6 to 2-3.

 

ILEN ROVERS: The minor ladies had a recent win against Bantry in the West Cork B League but also lost to St Colum’s. The Skibbereen Community Games Area U12s beat Conna in the county semi-final. Ilen were represented by Emma O’Driscoll, Emma Keohane and coach Ger Carey. Their county final is on Friday in Ballincollig (8pm). The U12 boys won against Sam Maguires. The U14 boys beat Carbery Rangers 3-15 to 4-4 in a championship match. The intermediates’ chances of making the league final took a dent with a loss to St Nicks. Ilen will rue some missed opportunities in the first half and should have held more than a point advantage at half time. The real damage was done in the third quarter with a St Nick's goal in the opening seconds of the second period.  Good luck to Leah Carey, Maebh Collins and the Cork U20s on Sunday as they face Meath in Mourneabbey (2pm). The club’s summer Cúl Camp will run from Monday, July 13th until Friday, July 17th inclusive and places are available online at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie. The club is holding a clothes collection this Friday. Bags can be dropped to Rath GAA Hall and Church Cross dressing rooms from 7pm to 8pm. KILBRITTAIN: The club’s annual golf classic, sponsored by Irish Yogurts Clonakilty, took place in Bandon Golf club on Friday. The event was again, a huge success with over 70 teams on the timesheet. Bandon Golf Club President James Barrett welcomed Kilbrittain GAA club and thanked them for their support of Bandon Golf club over the past 27 years. Main sponsors Irish Yogurts Clonakilty were represented by Oliver O’Brien, also club treasurer, who expressed congratulations from Diarmuid and Mary O’Sullivan on the achievements of the club during 2025 and 2026 so far. He also expressed the commitment from Irish Yogurts Clonakilty to continue as main sponsor of the event for the near future. Club chairman Dermot Hayes thanked all the sponsors of teams and tee boxes, and especially the main sponsors Irish Yogurts Clonakilty and Keohane Readymix for their generous sponsorship

The U12 footballers travelled to Inchigeela to play Uibh Laoire on Saturday but lost 5-19 to 5-6. The U14 camogie team played a close game against St Vincent’s in Rossmore.
