THE eagerly-awaited Olympic Games' men's lightweight double sculls rowing semi-final featuring Skibbereen brothers Gary and Paul O'Donovan has been postponed due to weather conditions in Rio.

The Skibb men were due to race at 1.10pm today as they attempted to qualify for the A final and keep their medal chances alive.

A new schedule will be released later today after all of Wednesday's rowing was postponed.
