A NEW era is on the horizon for the Cork hurlers as they open their 2026 National Hurling League campaign with Ben O'Connor at the helm.
The Newtownshandrum man will have his first competitive game as boss against Waterford on Sunday, January 25th in Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
Their second game sees the 2025 All-Ireland finalists travel to Galway on Saturday, January 31st before a repeat of the All-Ireland decider against Tipperary will be played in the Pairc on Saturday, February 7th.

The Rebels lost that final 3-27 to 1-18 so will be gunning to right some of the wrongs.
Just under a month later, Cork will have their next game away to Kilkenny in Nowlan Park on Sunday, March 1st.
A trip to Limerick in Gaelic Grounds follows on Saturday, March 7th before Cork's final game at home to Offaly on Saturday, March 21st.
