THE CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory has joined forces with its music patron, Kildare singer Jack Lukeman, to launch a new single that will see all proceeds go to the children's charity LauraLynn.

THE CIT Blackrock Castle Observatory has joined forces with its music patron, Kildare singer Jack Lukeman, to launch a new single that will see all proceeds go to the children’s charity LauraLynn.

Set against a backdrop of stunning night sky images, Starman - the iconic Bowie anthem, features Lukeman, along with The Trinity String Orchestra and the National Children's Choir singing their version of the classic pop song.

It was released on iTunes today.

‘Together we have a very good chance of getting this song trending and boosting the message, with all sales going towards LauraLynn’s Children Hospice,’ said a spokesperson.  ‘#Starman is the hashtag; please feel free to tag and share your own way including #Starman and the YouTube link.
