THE spectacular Carrigaline to Crosshaven walking route plays host to a special charity fundraising event this St Patrick’s Day, March 17th aimed at raising funds for the depression support, education and information services provided by Aware. The event is open to people of all ages and fitness levels, and registration is available now on aware.ie. The Cork walk was inspired by the Harbour2Harbour Walk event which has been organised by Aware in Dublin each year since 2005. Online registration for the event is available now on aware.ie. and participants are also encouraged to raise sponsorship from colleagues, friends or family. Aware’s secondary school programme is delivered to over 2,400 students aged 15-18 throughout Co. Cork each year and [email protected] programmes are also available for companies.
