ONE of the Cork pig sculptures sent to Dublin to raise funds for the Jack and Jill Foundation has received €5,000 sponsorship. Pigs on Parade is in full swing in Dublin city centre and monies raised will support home nursing care for 300 sick children nationwide. ‘Pig Cassi’ by Corina Thornton from the White House Gallery on the Sheep’s Head peninsula has achieved Golden Sponsorship anonymously. Other pigs will be auctioned at a gala dinner at the Double Tree Hotel on Burlington Road on March 21st. For more email [email protected]
