New temporary traffic managements arrangements will be introduced at St Finbarr's Place in Bandon from Tuesday June 2nd which will mean there will be no left turn towards Clonakilty or the town centre from St Finbarr's Place.
There are being temporarily put in place to facilitate footpath and road pavement works which are currently being undertake at this location as part of the final works in the Bandon TPREP (Bandon Transport Public Realm Enhancement Project).
A Council spokesperson said the current lane arrangement on Glasslyn Road will be adjusted, with the left-turn lane temporarily suspended to facilitate ongoing works within the area.

'There will be no left turn towards Clonakilty or the town centre from St. Finbarr’s Place. Diversions will be in place via MacSwiney Quay and motorists travelling from the Cork City direction are advised to use the bypass where possible.
'The final diversion point for town centre traffic will be located at the Station Road (Aldi) junction. Traffic travelling beyond this point will be diverted via MacSwiney Quay or North Main Street while traffic approaching from North Main Street will be directed left at the junction.'
The spokesperson added that there will no through traffic from North Main Street towards Patrick Street.
'All traffic management measures are temporary and will remain under ongoing review as works progress. Access to businesses, residences and pedestrian routes will continue to be maintained at all times, and emergency service access will remain unaffected.'
