BANTRY man Steven Murphy will represent Carbery at the Mr Personality Festival which is being organised by Kilkenny County Macra.
The 19th annual festival on April 10th and 11th heads to Langton’s Hotel Kilkenny for the very first time.
Steven (25) is an active member of Bantry Macra. He listed taking part in Capers and making it to the final – and being dressed as a ‘well-built woman’ as part of the show as one of his most memorable Macra moments.

His hobbies and interests include hill walking, skiing and training sheepdogs. Steven believes he will make a good representative for Carbery because he is a good ambassador for Macra and all the good work they do.
One of the highlights of the festival each year is the on-stage interviews which will kick off at 7pm on Friday April 10th. This will be followed by music from the much- anticipated The Deere Johns and DJ until late.
Judging the contestants this year will be 2025 Rose of Tralee, Katelyn Cummins, Influencer, James Kavanagh and UCD assistant professor, Brian Leonard.
Saturday’s itinerary includes private interviews with the judges, contestants’ challenges, and a gala banquet with Mr Personality announced at midnight.
