A two-bedroomed cabin located on Coolmountain near Dunmanway is attracting interest from potential buyers in Germany, Holland and Poland

A TWO-bedroomed cabin located on Coolmountain near Dunmanway is attracting interest from potential buyers in Germany, Holland and Poland.

New to the market with Lehane and Associates, Daniel Lehane said the cabin, which hasn’t been lived in for a while, is generating a lot of enquiries from overseas despite the fact that it needs some work to be made habitable.

He describes the cabin as an ‘interesting property,’ with plenty of similar-style holdings in the vicinity.

It’s on a site of around 0.33 acres and accommodation comprises an open plan kitchen/living room; two bedrooms and a bathroom. A separate building, a few metres from the main cabin, could function as a study or workshop of some sort.

Coolmountain  has over the years attracted a large hippy community and those living alternative lifestyles. The house will appeal to those interested in living slightly off the beaten track and pursuing a self-sufficient lifestyle.
