Gardaí investigating death of man removed from lake

Gardaí in West Cork are investigating all the circumstances of the death of a man in his 30s in Dunmanway yesterday afternoon.

The man's body was taken from the water at Drinagh Lake and he was pronounced dead.

The man's remains were removed to Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem will take place at a later date, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation.
