CORK Foundation are part of this year’s Loughmahon Corporate Challenge which takes place on Saturday, September 22nd.
This is the third annual event led by the Loughmahon-based companies which sees them come together to cycle 120km or 60km depending on their level of experience, from Cork to Bantry to raise funds for Cork charities.
This year’s chosen charities include Cope Foundation, Cork Deaf Association, Cork Mental Health, CUH Charity and specifically the oncology department, Our Lady of Good Counsel School and South Infirmary Paediatric Ward.
Last year’s event raised over €26,000 for various charities across Cork.
CEO of Cork Foundation Aine Collins said: ‘Cork Foundation are proud to be part of this wonderful event. It is great to see companies coming together, recognising their CSR potential and giving back to such worthy causes in Cork.’
The main sponsors of this year’s event are Ronan Daly Jermyn, PM Group, The Mater Private, McAfee, Solar Winds, JCD, and O’Leary Insurance Group.

We hope that the money raised will make a significant difference to these very worthy causes.’
The entry fee for this event is €50. A minimum of €200 including entry fee, must be raised.
