In Vietnam, millions of families – especially poor, rural and ethnic minority communities – are at risk as Vietnam’s economy continues to grow.

High inflation has resulted in soaring prices leaving the poor struggling to pay for basic needs such as food, water, transportation, schooling, and health care.

While in Vietnam, Naomi will be working with babies and toddlers who have been orphaned or who come from families who cannot afford medical treatment.

The Sunshine Home are only asking for Naomi’s time but she hopes to raise money to bring directly to the centre and donate. With a target of €2,000, she has so far raised nearly €500 on the website www.gofundme.com (search for Naomi Cullen). All donations there are welcome, while contributors can also do so in person in The Blue Haven or Hamlet’s in Kinsale.
