Armed gardaí in Schull another April fool's joke

There is no truth in the rumour that the pier in Schull has been closed off by armed gardaí.

The rumour is doing the rounds on social media and questions are being asked but a local source, at the front line of such matters, say there are no armed gardaí patrolling the pier or the streets of Schull.
