Appeal after hit and run in Clonakilty

GARDAI are appealing for witnesses to a hit and run which resulted in an injury near Lyre, Clonakilty, recently.

The hit and run was the result of a traffic collision at Ballycummer Creamery, Knockskeagh at 8.50am on Friday 18th March.

Gardai are now looking for a light blue Toyota Corolla hatchback, believed to be a 01 to 04 model, which left the scene of the accident. There could be damage to the driver’s front side of the vehicle, including damage to the wing, grill and perhaps more of the Toyota. Clonakilty gardai 023-8821570 are investigating.
