A MOTORIST who had no valid road tax and NCT, and who failed to produce insurance had all charges struck out at Clonakilty District Court.
Pascalene Daly, of Deelish, Drimoleague, was in court charged with three driving offences.

Gardaí seized the 52-year-old’s car and issued fixed penalty notices after they found Ms Daly had no valid road tax, no valid NCT and failed to produce insurance.
The court heard that the defendant had four previous convictions, all related to road traffic matters, including a two-year driving ban from April 2025 and a four-year disqualification from June 2025.
Defence solicitor Conrad Murphy said his client lived in a remote area and was the sole carer for her sister, adding: ‘The offences before you today pre-date the offences that were before you on a previous occasion.’
‘I acknowledge her situation and that she is caring for her sister. The demands of life are huge on this lady,’ said Judge Joanne Carroll.
Judge Carroll struck out all matters before the court.
An application for legal aid was granted.
