A poem by David P Carroll.
On a scary dark Halloween night
There was a terrible bang tonight
ADVERTISEMENT
And the little children are running
With fright and shadows dance and whisper under the glowing moonlight and
The scary creatures
Roam the streets on Halloween night and
There throtting through the streets with a gleeful glow
And children there's no place to go and the
Echo through alleys where shadows prowl
And the ghosts come alive with a shuddering sigh and from the
Haunted houses with creaky floors and the
To the graveyard gates with their rusty doors and
Each step taken echoes with dread
As tales of the night start swirling in red
And on this Halloween night you'll get a terrible fright and the scary skeletons
With bony hands are dancing in the
Cold dark graveyard tonight and it's
A chilling sight beyond compare
And on Halloween night you'll get
A terrible scare tonight and we're trapped in the terror of Halloween's fright and
The little children are hiding all through the scary night and
A chilling fog crept across the ground
As secrets of darkness spread all around
And the wind howl's and the trees creak
And on Halloween night its dark and bleak
And with monsters lurking bathed in pale moonlight the hairy werewolves
Are howling all through the dark night
And it's an endless fright on this haunted
Halloween night and the shadows
Stretch a scary Halloween night and you better take care little children because it'll be a very scary and spooky
Halloween night.
