EMBRACE FARM, Ireland’s only support network for farm families, has announced the third annual Wear Our Wellies (WOW) Day will take place on Friday, February 6th. The charity is encouraging Cork schools, businesses, groups, and individuals to take part in the unique fundraiser by wearing their wellies wherever they are on the day, and donate to Embrace FARM.
Last year, over €6,000 was raised to help Embrace FARM provide emotional and practical supports for Irish farm families impacted by serious injury and sudden death.
Speaking about the fundraiser, the organisation’s co-founder Norma Rohan said it was was ‘incredibly heartwarming to see people rallying last year for another incredibly successful WOW Day’.
