Kilmichael Vintage & Harvest Festival - Sunday, October 5th
The Kilmichael Vintage & Harvest Festival kicks off at the Kilmichael GAA grounds on Sunday, October 5th.
Proceeds in aid of West Cork Palliative Care, West Cork Rapid Response and Mary Mount Hospice.
Ahiohill Musicfest 2025 - Friday, October 3rd - Saturday October 4th
The Ahiohill Musicfest 2025 is offering a weekend ticket for Friday, October 3rd, and Saturday, October 4th.
The doors for the event will open at 8pm on both nights.
The weekend ticket is priced at €31.00 per person, which includes all booking fees.
The festival features a lineup of different musical acts over the two days:
Friday, October 3rd: The night will feature performances by The Burchaillí and The Monks.
Saturday, October 4th: The entertainment will continue with performances from the Gallivanters and Clada.
Go to the cinema - Friday, October 3rd - Sunday October 5th
A family trip to the cinema on a rainy afternoon can be a very pleasant outing and West Cork has two cinemas which both offer the latest releases - the Park Cinema in Clonakilty and Cinemax in Bantry.
Both cinemas cater for group bookings and also have a variety of on-site snacks and drinks available.

Visit The Treehouse in Skibbereen - Friday, October 3rd - Sunday October 5th
The Treehouse is an indoor playground in Skibbereen that offers a safe, adventure-filled soft play area for children and also a relaxing space where the grown-ups can relax with a cup of coffee.
The Treehouse Café offers serves a range of food options and snacks including kiddie friendly meals such as egg soldiers and pasta bowls.

Go for a dip in the pool - Friday, October 3rd - Sunday October 5th
When all else fails, simply get into the water to get out of the rain!
The Dunmanway Municipal Pool situated on the Bantry Road, Tonafora, P47 VH56, is a state of the art 25m pool that includes a steam room, sauna, hydrotherapy pool and a kiddies pool.
There are spacious changing rooms as well as disability-friendly changing rooms.
