A MAN alleged to have falsely imprisoned two people in Bandon has been sent forward for trial at Cork Circuit Criminal Court. 

Nicholas Oloiniu of 17 The Waterfront, Bridge Street, Galway appeared at Bandon District Court charged with the false imprisonment of two people on August 24th 2022. 

Gda Brian Blake served the book of evidence while Sgt Eimear O’Connell said the director of public prosecutions has directed that he be tried in the circuit court.

Judge Joanne Carroll issued  an alibi warning . She extended free legal aid to include one junior counsel and sent him forward to the next sittings of Cork Circuit Criminal Court commencing on October 29th.
